Sikorsky-Boeing Team's Joint Multi-Role Design To Focus On X2 Technology

Sikorsky and Boeing will submit a design proposal for the Army's Joint Multi-Role technology demonstration air vehicle that is centered on Sikorsky's X2 Technology, the companies said today. The two announced they would team up for a chance to build a vertical-lift aircraft to fly in the first phase of the Army's technology demonstration effort last month.
