SOCOM To Issue RFP For V-22 Internally Transportable Vehicle

U.S. Special Operations Command is planning a competition to acquire non-developmental, highly mobile vehicles capable of being transported inside V-22 Ospreys. In a Jan. 10 notice, the command announced plans to release a request for proposals on or around Jan. 31 for a three-year contract to supply at least two identical vehicles, colored "desert tan," with the option for the command to buy eight more.
