SOCOM Mulls Acquisition Of 'Highly Mobile' Ground Vehicle

U.S. Special Operations Command officials are soliciting feedback from industry on plans to buy a fleet of highly mobile ground vehicles outfitted for special-operations missions, according to a recent notice on the Federal Business Opportunities website. Officials envision a "modified government-off-the-shelf" product, meaning a vehicle that is already in use by the government -- presumably the military or intelligence agencies, according to the FBO notice.
