Stackley: Mattis' review of F-35 cost, capability won't impact Navy's buy

The Navy does not anticipate modifying its fighter acquisition strategy once the Pentagon's F-35 review is released, according to the acting service secretary. On Jan. 26, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis ordered a review of the Joint Strike Fighter program. The study will consider options for reducing costs while still meeting program requirements.
