Textron submits ARV prototype informed by Marine Corps force design

Textron Systems has designed, constructed and tested an Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle prototype ahead of the competition for the program, the company announced Tuesday. David Philips, Textron's senior vice president for land systems, told reporters the company has built a prototype, named the Cottonmouth, and submitted a response to the program's request for prototype proposals ahead of the program’s Monday deadline.
