Amid mounting pressure from the two House defense committees to invest shipbuilding funds in other hulls rather than building additional DDG-1000 ships, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead told reporters this morning funds pegged for DDG-1000 should not be used to build other ships.
