UDLP Awarded $228 Million Bradley Contract

United Defense LP yesterday won a $228 million contract for Bradley Fighting Vehicles after the Army cleared the M2A3 version for full-rate production late last week. The contract covers 83 M2A3 Bradleys, 26 M3A3s, 13 M2A2 "Operation Desert Storm" Bradleys, 179 M2A2 ODS appliqué kits and other equipment, as well as an "economic order quantity" for additional vehicles, according to a Defense Department announcement.
