U.S., Singapore Sign New Defense Agreement, Set Annual Policy Talks

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and his Singaporean counterpart, Teo Chee Hean, today signed a new agreement increasing cooperation between their respective armed forces. The pact calls for the two nations to establish annual talks between senior defense officials to exchange views and discus bilateral cooperation.
