Walls: Commanders key to successful cyber defense

Securing the Army's networks must be solely the commander's responsibility, according to an Army cyber directorate official. Lt. Col. Chris Walls, deputy director for strategy and policy in the directorate, told industry leaders at a conference May 10, "For cyberspace and electronic warfare operations to really succeed, [they have] to be a priority in all exercises, from home station training to major training densities," such as the National Training Center in Ft.
