WGS-5 Launch Delayed One Day Due To ULA Delta IV Engine Anomaly

A Wideband Global Satellite Communications launch scheduled for this week has been delayed by one day due to an engine anomaly involving a Delta IV rocket booster. The Air Force's fifth WGS satellite is now scheduled to launch on May 23, at 8:38 p.m., from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL, according to a May 19 statement from the United Launch Alliance, creator of the Delta IV launch vehicle.
