White House Taps Stackley to Become Navy Acquisition Executive

In the twilight of the Bush administration, the White House has officially tapped a Senate Armed Services Committee staffer for the job of Navy acquisition czar. Virginia-native Sean Stackley is in line for the job, the administration announced May 1. He would replace acting Navy acquisition executive John Thackrah.
