Wilson says Air Force will seek 'different acquisition strategies for different programs'

The Air Force won't limit itself to a particular acquisition strategy in future procurement efforts, Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen Wilson told an industry conference Wednesday. Some analysts have identified the service's T-X competition as a “price shootout,” but Wilson said the Air Force is selecting its approach based on its requirements.
