A House panel today approved legislation that would extend by one year the Navy's option for entering a block buy agreement for amphibious ships. Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA), ranking member on the House Armed Services seapower and projection forces subcommittee, offered the amendment which was attached to the subcommittee's mark of the fiscal year 2022 defense authorization bill.
