Young Wants Strong DOD Showing in Federal Biometrics Policymaking

Pentagon acquisition executive John Young last week laid out new guidelines for the participation of Defense Department officials in high-level interagency forums on biometrics initiatives. Biometrics policy issues are discussed at two policy coordination committees under the National Security Council and the Homeland Security Council. They are called the Combating Terrorism Security Group and the Border Transportation Security panel, respectively.
