CBO cost estimate of House FY-20 defense policy bill

The Sept. 9, 2019 Congressional Budget Office report estimates that enacting the House's version of the fiscal year 2020 defense authorization bill "would increase net direct spending by $6.2 billion over the 2020-2029 period."
