In May 2025, acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations and Environment Bob Thompson; acting Army Assistant Secretary for Installations, Energy and Environment Daniel Klippstein; acting Navy Assistant Secretary for Energy, Installations & Environment Brenda Johnson-Turner; and acting Air Force Assistant Secretary for Energy, Installations & Environment Michael Saunders each submitted fiscal year 2026 testimony to the congressional defense committees on energy, installations and the environment.
