DOD instruction on value engineering

In an Oct. 1, 2024 memo, Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Heidi Shyu approves a directive that establishes policy, assigns responsibilities and defines authorities for the effective administration of the Defense Department's Value Engineering program.
