DOD report on incentive fees, contractor performance

The November 2022 Defense Department report to Congress finds that "after an in-depth analysis of DOD contracting officers' actions on award-fee contracts, Defense Pricing and Contracting found no discrepancies nor policy noncompliance with the payment of award-fees to contractors with documented performance issues, and concluded DOD had appropriately followed acquisition regulations."
