GAO report on F-35 aircraft sustainment

The Oct. 26, 2017, Government Accountability Office report recommends the Defense Department "revise sustainment plans, re-examine metrics and ensure that it has sufficient knowledge of costs and technical characteristics before entering into performance-based contracts, and improve communication with the services about sustainment costs" regarding the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
