GAO report on State Department oversight of ITAR violations

The Feb. 6, 2023 Government Accountability Office "public version of a sensitive report GAO issued in September 2022" recommends the State Department "complete and implement: (1) procedures for recording data on potential [International Traffic in Arms Regulations] violations and (2) changes to electronic data collection mechanisms to improve accuracy and completeness of data."
