GOP lawmakers' letter on ATACMS for Ukraine

In a Sept. 9, 2024 letter, House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-AL), Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX), Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH), Foreign Affairs Europe subcommittee Chairman Tom Kean (R-NJ), House Appropriations defense subcommittee Chairman Ken Calvert (R-CA) and Commissioner of the Helsinki Commission Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) urge the Biden administration to lift the remaining restrictions on Ukraine’s use of U.S.-provided long-range systems, specifically Army Tactical Missile Systems, to strike deeper into Russian territory.
