GOP senators' letter on Iran sanctions

On April 6, 2021 Senate Armed Services Committee Ranking Member Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Vice Chairman Marco Rubio (R-FL), Senate Banking Committee Ranking Member Pat Toomey (R-PA)  and Senate Foreign Relations Near East, South Asia, Central Asia and counterterrorism subcommittee Ranking Member Todd Young (R-IN) sent a letter to President Biden urging his administration to "reset its approach" to Iran following news that the United States may relinquish sanctions leverage over the Iranian regime in exchange for a return to the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
