Lawmakers' response to Air Force reprogramming request

In a Jan. 19, 2021 reprogramming request, the Defense Department seeks congressional approval to shift $126 million among various accounts, nearly $115 million of which would be moved within Air Force appropriations. Senate authorizers crossed out a proposed $9.7 million transfer of Air Force money "to finance Indian incentive payments."
