Senate Hearing On Afghanistan

On July 11, 2013, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing on the situation in Afghanistan. Includes the prepared testimony of James Dobbins, the State Department's special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan; Peter Lavoy, acting assistant defense secretary for Asian and Pacific security affairs; Stephen Hadley, senior adviser for international affairs at the U.S. Institute of Peace; Ahmad Nader Nadery, founder and chairman of the Fair and Free Elections Foundation of Afghanistan; and Sarah Chayes, senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
