Senators' amendment on JSTARS

On Sept. 12, 2017, Sens. Johnny Isakson (R-GA) and David Perdue (R) introduced an amendment to fiscal year 2018 defense policy legislation to block the Air Force from using FY-18 funds to retire or prepare to retire the E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, or to put it into storage or into the backup aircraft inventory.
