Senators' letter to Navy leaders on ship collision recommendations

In a Nov. 13, 2017, letter to Navy Secretary Richard Spencer and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson, Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Tim Kaine (D-VA) call on Spencer and Richardson to "appoint a flag officer to oversee and coordinate implementation [of recommendations included in the recent Comprehensive Review of Recent Surface Force Incidents] across the entire fleet to protect and strengthen our Navy."
