Senators' space sensor layer amendment

In June 2019, Sens. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) proposed legislation that could be adopted into the Senate Armed Services Committee's fiscal year 2020 defense policy bill that would establish in law MDA's role in overseeing development of a space-based network to track hypersonic and long-range cruise missile threats.
