On June 9, 2025 House Armed Services Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-CA) and Ranking Member Adam Smith (D-WA) introduced the SPEED Act, "which fundamentally reforms defense acquisition and streamlines how the Department of Defense equips our warfighters."
