Air Force selects Boeing as integrator for B-52 re-engining

The Air Force has selected Boeing as the aircraft integrator for the B-52 re-engining program, and expects to have an approved acquisition strategy for the effort by September. The decision is part of a two-step strategy to replace the B-52's TF33 engine with a commercial-off-the-shelf solution.
