D-RAPCON officials expect slower production rate, say tests need more time

The Deployable Radar Approach Control system entered developmental test in October as program officials prepare to stretch its production over seven years starting in 2019. "Raytheon continues to work with the Air Force to facilitate fielding of the D-RAPCON system as soon as it is ready," a company spokeswoman said Nov. 28.
