House, Senate Pressure FAA To Speed Up UAS Test Site Selection

Congressional and industry officials are growing increasingly frustrated with the Federal Aviation Administration, which has yet to establish six test sites across the country where unmanned aircraft would be introduced into the national airspace. The FAA was expected to pick the sites earlier this year and is now hoping -- but not promising -- to make progress with the site selection process by December.
