LOCKHEED MARTIN TO RETROFIT FUZE CABLE ON LOT-5 JASSM MISSILES

The Air Force has approved a Lockheed Martin plan to correct a manufacturing defect in a Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile fuze cable that was discovered during flight testing, according to an industry official. The company will also retrofit older versions of the weapon in an attempt to improve performance.
