Rolls-Royce pitching BR725 engine to replace B-52 propulsion system

The Air Force has yet to solidify a plan to upgrade or replace the B-52 engine, but engine-maker Rolls-Royce told reporters this week the company's BR725 jet engine may be a contender for an eventual competition.
