Senate committee blesses Army's Bradley replacement goal

The Senate Armed Services Committee is rewarding the Army's work to nail down a concept for the Next Generation Combat Vehicle with a sizable increase in funding to accelerate prototyping of the intended Bradley replacement, according to a staffer. The committee's mark of the fiscal year 2019 defense authorization bill gives the Army a $70 million increase in NGCV funding, for a total of $190 million.
