Navy Awards CANES Contracts To Comply With GAO Bid Protest Decision

The Navy has awarded contracts to two companies that protested a multibillion-dollar Consolidated Afloat Networks Enterprise Services production unit competition after the Government Accountability Office sustained the protests. CGI Federal Inc. and DRS Laurel Technologies were each awarded eight-year contracts, separate from the five CANES production contracts the service awarded on Aug. 20, 2014.
