Aerojet Rocketdyne said this week sales in its most recent quarter reached nearly $460 million, up from $408 million during the same three-month period a year earlier.
The company attributed the sales growth to a boost in space programs, but said it saw a decline in defense programs related to the timing of deliveries on the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense and Standard Missile programs.
Aerojet Rocketdyne reported quarterly profit of $24.3 million, up from $5.9 million a year earlier.
