The Air Force plans to host an AFWERX Space Challenge in June focused on highlighting new, integrated space technology that is secure, resilient and agile.
The June 23-25 event will highlight four space-related challenges: persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; Defense Department commercial space partnerships; global transport and delivery; and space asset resiliency.
AFWERX is seeking proposals through May 3, and the service will select teams to participate in the challenge by May 19, according to a March 16 notice. Participants could receive funding for rapid prototyping or be put on contract to contribute to existing programs.
