The Air Force has approved a $386 million modification to Raytheon's contract to supply Paveway laser-guided bombs to foreign customers, according to a Defense Department contract notice released Wednesday.
The addition brings the total value of the contract, originally awarded in August 2018, to $496 million. It pays for studies, production, certification, integration and sustainment.
The Pentagon’s announcement does not identify the Paveway customers but says the $386 million modification "involves 100% foreign military sales to countries with active cases to acquire Paveway weapon systems or have expressed interest in the Paveway Family of Weapons."
Raytheon will carry out the contract work in Tucson, AZ, and Air Force test ranges.
