Air Force Global Strike Command has ordered a stand-down of the B-1B Lancer fleet after discovering "an issue" with ejection-seat components following an emergency landing of a B-1B in Midland, TX.
The service ordered the stand-down June 7 and has commissioned a Safety Investigation Board to review the incident and recommend corrective actions, according to a June 8 press release.
The Air Force did not immediately release details on the ejection-seat concerns, but said once the "issues" are resolved, the fleet will return to flight.
