According to a request for information posted on Federal Business Opportunities today, the service is also interested in sources that can develop an automated risk management framework and show flexibility in applying commercial and government software tools.

"Capability statements should also address the development of a 24/7 Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) Out-of-Band Management (OOB/M) network for node integration, data sharing and experimentation while also proving promotion 'inheritable' [authority to operate] capabilities for rapid C2 connectivity while maintaining data confidentiality, integrity and availability," the notice states.

The Air Force is only looking for companies that can work at the top secret level and receive an operational security authority to operate. Responses are due June 20.
