AMERGINT Technologies said this week it has agreed to acquire Raytheon Technologies' space-based precision optics business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The business, which is part of Collins Aerospace, is headquartered in Danbury, CT.

The Colorado Springs, CO-based AMERGINT provides software-defined technology for military, intelligence and commercial space.

Last month, the Justice Department said Raytheon and United Technologies needed to make three divestitures, including Raytheon's space-based optical systems business, to complete their merger.

BAE Systems had already announced it would acquire Collins Aerospace's military GPS business and Raytheon's airborne tactical radio business, the other two required divestitures.
