Applied Insight unveils aiLabs

Applied Insight today said it has launched Altitude, a cloud technology developed in its internal research and development program.

That program is known as aiLabs. John Hynes, Applied Insight's chief executive, told Inside Defense last week that aiLabs "isn't a hobby shop."

"This is very much about looking at the mission and then using our know-how to help solve a problem," he said. The company then seeks to quickly deploy a solution.

Hynes said there are more than a dozen potential products in process and said aiLabs provides a way for the company to differentiate itself.
