ARCTOS awarded 10-year GSA program for manned and unmanned systems

Aviation and defense contractor ARCTOS was named one of the awardees for the General Services Administration's program to provide research and development for manned and unmanned systems.

The Federal Systems Integration Management Center ASTRO program supports research and development for military vehicles and weapon systems, according to the company's Aug. 3 release.

ARCTOS was awarded the "ASTRO Research Pool for exclusive bidding on all the R&D opportunities associated with manned, unmanned, optionally manned, and counter unmanned systems (UxS) platforms for land, air, sea or space," the press release noted.

The minimum guaranteed contract value for all ASTRO task orders is $100 million each, with no set cap for the maximum contract value, according to the company's press release.
