Army delays LOGCAP V RFP release

The Army has postponed the release of a final request for proposals for a logistics contract worth as much as $82 billion over a decade.

The service last month hosted an industry day for the next incarnation of its Logistics Civil Augmentation Program, known as LOGCAP V. According to a draft RFP, the service is expected to make four to six awards for the program, which is intended to support the geographic combatant commands, the Army and other DOD components.

Though an RFP was slated for release this month, a notice posted this morning on Federal Business Opportunities says “there will be an indeterminate delay in the release of the LOGCAP V Request for Proposal.”
