The Army will hold a virtual industry day for the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle on Dec. 9, according to a recent notice.
"The purpose of the OMFV Virtual Industry Day is to provide an overview of the program acquisition approach and strategy, discuss the requirements approach, cover the Phase 2 approach, and discuss the Phase 2 [request for proposals] scope and proposal evaluation approach," according to the Dec. 1 notice.
Attendees will have a limited opportunity to ask questions, the notice states.
The Army restarted the OMFV acquisition program this year after an initial prototype selection received just one approved bid.
