Army inviting industry to Future Vertical Lift event

The Army is inviting industry to a Future Vertical Lift Architecture Collaboration Working Group event next month.

A Nov. 15 Army notice states the FVL ACWG develops and maintains a common architecture requirements framework for all FVL programs of record, including the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft and the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft.

According to the notice, "The ACWG is chartered to define FVL [Family or Systems] architecture artifacts, including but not limited to tools, procedures, methodologies, models and standards, and to resolve potential unknowns regarding open systems and key interfaces. This architecture is to comply with the Modular Open Systems Approach in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017."

Industry must register by Dec. 2.

The FVL ACWG will be held Dec. 16 at Dynetics' Solutions Complex in Huntsville, AL.
