Army Science Board to discuss fiscal year 2019 studies in July

The Army Science Board will be meeting in both open and closed sessions July 17 to discuss five fiscal year 2019 studies.

According to a Federal Register notice posted this morning, the open meetings will go from 7:30 am to 3 pm and discuss the following studies: "Reforming Talent Management in the Army," "Battlefield Uses of Artificial Intelligence," "Army Futures Command" and "An Independent Assessment of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Effectiveness in Delivering the Nation's Civil Works Program."

The closed session will discuss the classified study "An Independent Assessment of the Next Generation Anti-Armor Strategy" from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.

The meetings will be held at the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center of the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering in Irvine, CA.
