The Army Science Board will convene in a closed meeting on Tuesday to discuss two studies, according to a Federal Register notice.
Members of the ASB will review, deliberate and vote on the findings and recommendations presented for two fiscal year 2023 studies on Sept. 26 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in Arlington, VA.
The first study, “Testing, Validating, and Protecting Army use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Models,” contains controlled unclassified information and will be presented in a closed session from 8:45 - 10:00 a.m.
The second study, “Advanced Concepts to Support Army Warfighting Functions in the Indo-Pacific,” also contains controlled unclassified information and will be presented in a closed session at 10:15 - 11:30 a.m.
Earlier this month, the ASB released a study assessing the future threats to fifth-generation ground vehicles.
