Booz Allen Hamilton said this week it has appointed Michèle Flournoy to its board of directors, effective Oct. 24.
Additionally, the company said it has also added Ellen Jewett to the board, effective Oct. 25, and that Philip Odeen, a board member for the last decade, will retire in March 2019.
Flournoy is co-founder of WestExec Advisors, a strategic advisory firm, and co-founder and former chief executive of the Center for a New American Security. She served as under secretary of defense for policy from 2009 to 2012.
Jewett, who is managing partner at Canoe Point Capital, previously was head of U.S. government and infrastructure for BMO Capital Markets. She also spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs.
