CAE taps Gelston to head defence group

Canadian defense contractor CAE said this week it has named Daniel Gelston group president for defence & security, effective Aug. 24.

He previously was president of L3Harris Technologies' broadband communications systems sector and president of its communication systems-west division.

He has also been an executive at Smiths Detection and Cobham.
